Cindy Dickeson
CEO
Center for Early Intervention on Deafness (CEID)
Cindy brings nearly 30 years of nonprofit leadership experience to CEID. She earned her Master’s in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis and spent a decade directing programs for families facing homelessness and domestic violence. Since joining CEID in 2006, Cindy has championed family-centered programs and staff development. After eight years as Director of Programs and Operations, she became CEO in 2014. Drawing on her first hand understanding of the challenges families face in accessing support services and securing appropriate academic placements, Cindy ensures families remain at the heart of CEID’s mission. She has presented at state and national conferences on family support, navigating special education systems, and early intervention for children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.

My name is Saúl Cuevas-Landeros and I am a young Mexican man born and raised in Oakland, California. I'm a lifelong learner who likes to get outdoors primarily through hiking, backpacking, and running but I've loved playing basketball growing up and rugby in college. My recent hobbies have included birding, reading, and playing video games. My guiding dream at the moment is to complete the Pacific Crest Trail before I'm 30!
