Our Mission
The Polyglot Initiative, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, was founded by Jonathan & William, two multilingual students passionate about language as a tool for connection. Their mission is to foster bilingualism in children (& adults!) through storytelling & to promote global awareness through writing advocacy. By encouraging curiosity across cultures & languages, they aim to build bridges one word at a time.
Are you ready to be whisked away to whimsical journeys in English, Chinese, and Spanish? Join us for virtual adventures anytime, anywhere in the world! We invite you to find stories that are read in more than one language.
Are you intrigued by Gen Z? Would you like to take a peek into our brains? Figuratively, of course! We invite you to our deepest thoughts and hope to facilitate meaningful conversations.

Our Purpose
In a country of over 340 million people, only 23% of Americans speak more than one language. While we’re born with the ability to learn multiple languages, this potential often fades without exposure or opportunity. Without access to other cultures and languages, we lose more than words - we lose empathy, global awareness, and the chance to connect across borders.
The Polyglot Initiative is where stories, languages, and cultures come together. Through inclusive programs and accessible platforms, we make bilingualism approachable and engaging. By celebrating language as a tool for connection, we foster curiosity, amplify diverse voices, and build bridges one word at a time.
